Some players you hear once and never forget. Caelan Cardello is one of them.

A Juilliard graduate who was performing professionally at sixteen, Caelan has already played Newport, Marciac and Monterey, and held down the piano bench at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Birdland and Tokyo's Cotton Club. He's been a finalist in both the American Piano Awards and the Herbie Hancock Piano Competition, and has shared stages with Christian McBride, Jimmy Cobb, Rufus Reid, Randy Brecker and Bill Charlap.

Bill Charlap put it plainly: "Caelan Cardello's got it. All of it — heart, brains, dimension, drama, imagination, taste, time, spirit, blues, nuance, virtuosity, variety and personality."

Caelan Cardello

Grand Piano

Originally from Teaneck, New Jersey, pianist Caelan Cardello began studying classical and jazz piano at age five. A graduate of Jazz House Kids, William Paterson University, and The Juilliard School, he has studied with such renowned artists as Fred Hersch, Dave Kikoski, Harold Mabern, and Bill Charlap.

Cardello has performed at leading venues and festivals around the world, including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Birdland, Tokyo’s Cotton Club, Newport, Monterey, Marciac, and Nice. Career highlights include music directing the Sarah Vaughan Centennial Concert at Jazz at Lincoln Center, performing with Christian McBride’s Newport at 70 ensemble, and appearing in 92NY’s Jazz in July series.

A finalist in the Herbie Hancock International Piano Competition and the American Pianists Awards, Cardello now performs and tours with his own trio and quartet.

Eytan Schillinger Hyman

Bass

Eytan Schillinger-Hyman is a New York City–based jazz bassist and composer known for his versatility on upright and electric bass. A native of San Francisco and a graduate of Oberlin College & Conservatory and The Juilliard School, he has performed at leading venues and festivals including Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, the Blue Note, SFJAZZ, Smalls Jazz Club, and the Monterey Jazz Festival. His collaborators include Paquito D’Rivera, Wayne Escoffery, Matthew Whitaker, Akira Tana, Donald Vega, and Christopher McBride. Equally at home as a supportive sideman and creative improviser, Schillinger-Hyman brings a strong rhythmic foundation, warm tone, and contemporary voice to every ensemble.

Isaiah Bravo

Drums

Isaiah Bravo is a New York–based jazz drummer from Kissimmee, Florida, currently studying at The Juilliard School. A former member of Carnegie Hall’s NYO Jazz, he was also recognized for Outstanding Percussion at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s 2023 Essentially Ellington Competition, where the Osceola County School for the Arts earned first place. Bravo has appeared at prominent venues including Dizzy’s Club, Smalls Jazz Club, and The Jazz Gallery, performing with the Juilliard Jazz Orchestra, Helen Sung’s Oracles Big Band, and other leading ensembles. His playing combines rhythmic precision, dynamic energy, and a deep connection to the jazz tradition.
