Celebrate Halloween with an unforgettable evening of live music, costumes, cocktails, and surprises at The Grand! Singers and instrumentalists are invited to sign up in advance for a chance to to take the stage and perform with Brian Mann and The Grand’s professional house band, while guests enjoy a festive night of jazz, soul, and favorite songs.

Come dressed to impress—there will be a prize for the evening’s best costume—then settle in for Halloween-inspired cocktails, dinner, small plates, and decadent desserts. Whether you perform or simply join the fun, this will be a Halloween night to remember.

Brian Mann is an acclaimed pianist, composer, arranger, and musical director whose remarkable career spans jazz, rock, pop, television, and film. He has toured and performed with Kenny Loggins, Michael McDonald, David Lee Roth, and jazz-guitar great Larry Carlton, while his extensive studio career includes composing and producing music for television, advertising, and children’s programming. A longtime Santa Barbara resident, Brian combines extraordinary musicianship with warmth, imagination, and a deep love of jazz. At The Grand, his artistry and welcoming spirit are at the heart of the music.

Randy Tico is a Santa Barbara-born bassist, composer, and producer celebrated for his melodic style, versatility, and extraordinary musical range. He has toured and recorded with artists including Jeff Bridges, Kenny Loggins, José Feliciano, Flora Purim and Airto Moreira, Strunz & Farah, and the acclaimed jazz ensemble Matrix. Equally at home in jazz, Brazilian music, rock, and world music, Tico has also composed for film, television, theater, and multimedia productions. A longtime favorite of the Santa Barbara music community, his expressive playing and instinctive musicianship elevate every ensemble he joins.

Jim Mooy

Jim Mooy is an accomplished jazz and classical trumpeter, conductor, and respected music educator. A graduate of UCLA and an alumnus of the Music Academy of the West, he has toured professionally throughout the United States and Japan and performed extensively in the Los Angeles area, including as a full-time Disneyland musician. At Santa Barbara City College, Mooy conducts the award-winning Lunch Break Jazz Ensemble and the Symphony Orchestra, inspiring generations of musicians while remaining an active and admired presence in Santa Barbara’s music community.
