Grammy- and Emmy-Nominated Guitarist & Composer Grant Geissman — The Iconic Guitar Soloist Behind “Feels So Good”

Grammy- and Emmy-nominated guitarist and composer Grant Geissman has built a remarkable career at the intersection of jazz, blues, popular music and television.
Geissman first captured the world’s attention with his now-iconic electric-guitar solo on Chuck Mangione’s 1978 hit “Feels So Good.” Since then, he has released sixteen albums under his own name, including the Grammy-nominated BLOOZ, while recording with an extraordinary roster of artists that includes Quincy Jones, Burt Bacharach, Elvis Costello, Brian Wilson, Ringo Starr, David Benoit and Tom Scott.
His music is also woven into American television. Geissman co-wrote the music for all twelve seasons of Two and a Half Men—earning an Emmy nomination for its unforgettable theme—and composed for all six seasons of Mike & Molly. His playing can also be heard in the music of Monk, Mad Men and numerous films and television series.
Whether delivering an elegant jazz phrase, a soulful blues line or an electrifying solo, Grant brings warmth, wit and an unmistakable voice to the guitar. This is a rare opportunity to experience a celebrated musician and composer live and up close in The Grand’s intimate listening room.
